CIH NORTHERN IRELAND

Welcome to the CIH Northern Ireland’s website. The CIH currently has over 20,000 members and over 500 of these are from Northern Ireland. Our members work for many organisations including the Northern Ireland Housing Executive, the housing associations, the private sector, voluntary organisations and academic institutions.

CIH LEADERSHIP IN HOUSING PROGRAMME 2009

The Chartered Institute of Housing is committed to developing a network of leaders in the housing sector and providing current and aspiring leaders with the professional development support they need in a challenging housing environment.

Demand and need for a leadership development was a key outcome of a CIH survey of housing professionals earlier this year. To meet this demand, the CIH in Northern Ireland has developed a Leadership in Housing Programme, which will roll out in early 2009.

The programme will bring together a network of current or future leaders and equip them with the skills and knowledge required to lead the sector in the future. Tutors teaching on the programme are experts both nationally and internationally in the chosen fields and will enhance learning outcomes for participants.
